Absolutely a brilliant piece of Victorian design and craftsmanship.
The reading table can be raised and lowered on a angled notched pillar which locks into place by a metal pull up lever .
Also the reading table can be angled in both directions by 90degrees .
Beautiful turned main column leading down to the foot plate that sits on metal castors .
This table is in fabulous condition.
